So happy to be back! I was having some serious log-in problems with Blogspot so please excuse my not posting since the 11th! I truly missed it and am now back on my game. I have some great gift ideas to share and a wonderful event that I had the opportunity to be apart of...will share details very soon.
Love,
Simone

Gift Tip #15: Movie Tickets
Now this is not a gift that you give for a momentous occasion but it is a nice "I'm thinking of you" gift or perfect for an acquaintance's birthday. The summer is one of the best times to give this gift with all the summer blockbusters hitting the movie screens!
Keep in mind that picking up actual movie tickets might be hard unless you know this is a movie a certain someone has been dying to see and they must see it on opening night. Otherwise shoot for a gift card...not as original but still fine if you couple it with other surprises to ensure that the gift was thought about for some time.
For example, you can pair the movie tickets or gift card with a popcorn bucket filled with packets of popcorn and big boxes of candy, like at the movie theatre. Be sure to pick the recipient's favorite treats! Popcorn buckets can be found online and the cost is usually pretty cheap. See example below from Dollar Days. The candy can be found just about anywhere candy is sold.

Gift Tip #14: Story by Mia
Story By Mia is a design studio whose chief (and only) designer is Mia. Her work is dainty and pretty. My favorite is the Love collection. I'm not sure if this is what she calls it but the cards are based on the "Love is" bible scripture. I purchased the cards below.
In addition to notecards, Story by Mia also does custom wedding invitations, baby announcements and stationery. She also does business cards and calling cards by request. Check out her work via etsy.com.

Looking for my QCity Metro article?
There was a glitch in the system of sorts and my article has been pushed back a day or so. I will be sure to share the link once the article is up and running. It should not be long!
Thanks for all your support.
