Surprise find at Ohio thrift store
In April, an Ohio man shopping at a thrift store paid $14.14 for what he thought was a framed poster of a Picasso work. But the art turned out to most likely be an original linocut print that Picasso made himself for a 1958 exhibition in southern France. A month later, the man turned around and resold the print to a private buyer for $7,000. Not bad for a thrift store find.
