Be sure to pick up the April issue of SouthPark Magazine and see my contributions in the BLVD section of this luxe magazine. This month I interviewed internationally known fashion designer, Cynthia Rowley...fresh off of New York Fashion Week no less...and her passion for her work came through in every word she spoke. Have you ever met someone who seemed so in tune to their calling? It may sound silly but that's the feeling I got from Cynthia! So obviously interviewing Ms. Rowley was a huge highlight for me but I also got to create a fun piece called Neighborhood Style Watch where personal fashion style was shown through Charlotte neighborhoods. Let me know (leave a comment below) if you could see yourself in the "neighborhood" attire once you read the article. Last but not least, I was able to share a new beauty gem (and timesaver) to SouthPark--Blo OuT salon which opened this month. It all begins on page 21 and copies can be picked up here.
Bzzz: Cynthia by Cynthia Rowley is a new clothing line being sold exclusively by Belk stores. I've checked out these outfits and they are classic Cynthia but with a smaller price tag. Her clothes offer staples (cute Tuxedo pants) and whimsical (silk shirts dotted with colorful polka dots) items too. Great for fashionistas, budget babes who still want to look good and those that want to "pop" this spring/summer.
The services of Blo Out would be a fun afternoon of pampering your hair with your best girlfriend (for $35 for a style you can treat!) or a special Mother/Daughter outing.
I painstakingly (smile) picked clothes and accessories for the Neighborhood Style Watch from Fresh Boutique, Boris & Natasha, Scout & Molly's and Ivy & Leo that would make for a pulled together look for every Charlotte zip code so I suggest you stop in the respective stores and ask for the entire outfit! Too much? Try an accessory or one of the pieces for a "just right for you" gift!
